Hospital to offer Flu Shot Clinic
December 21, 2005

(Low Moor, VA) – Alleghany Regional Hospital has announced Flu Shot Clinics to be offered to the general adult public. “The hospital has received some extra flu serum and is glad to make the immunizations available to the general public,” stated Robin Broughman, Chief Nursing Officer. “With the sporadic delivery of serum to our local physician offices, we realize there are many in our community who were not able to get a flu shot.”

Anyone over the age of 18 wishing to receive a flu shot can come to the hospital emergency department on the following dates and times: Thursday (12/22) and Friday (12/23) from 9a.m. until 3p.m. or Tuesday (12/27) through Friday (12/30) from 9a.m. until 3p.m. An evening clinic will be held on Wednesday (12/28) from 5p.m. until 7p.m. No appointment is necessary. A $20 fee will be collected at the time of the injection and should be paid via cash or check. No insurance will be billed. For more information, call 540.862.6210.
